# API reference

> Every REST endpoint for discovering markets and trading on Agara.

Use the public `/api/v1` endpoints to discover events and markets, read prices,
and search available markets. Trading endpoints live under `/trade/v1` and use the
bearer-token authentication described in [Authentication](/docs/authentication).
Amounts go on the wire in micro units encoded as strings — see
[Conventions](/docs/conventions).

Every failure response uses a stable machine-readable code. See
[Errors and recovery](/docs/errors) before implementing retries or reconciling
an uncertain write.

Pick a resource group from the sidebar. Each page documents the request and
response shapes with ready-to-copy examples. Market-data endpoints are public;
trading, portfolio, and account endpoints require the scopes shown on each page.

Machine-readable OpenAPI documents are available at `/api/v1/openapi.json` and
`/trade/v1/openapi.json` on every deployment.
