# Agara > Agara is a prediction market at app.agara.xyz where people buy and sell Yes/No shares on crypto prices, stocks and economic data. Each winning share pays 1 USDC, and Agara trades settle on the Base blockchain. Every Agara market is a Yes/No market with exactly two outcomes, labelled Yes and No, or Up and Down on up-or-down markets; an Agara multi-outcome event groups several of these markets under one question. A share in an Agara market is priced between 1 and 99 cents (0.01 to 0.99 USDC), and the price is the market's estimate of how likely the share's outcome is. On Agara, a Yes price of 40 cents and a No price of 60 cents express the same 40% chance of Yes. Agara prices are set by traders on an order book. When an Agara market resolves, each winning share pays 1 USDC and each losing share pays nothing. Worked example: 10 Yes shares bought on Agara at 40 cents cost 4 USDC; if the market resolves Yes they pay 10 USDC, a gain of 6 USDC before any fees, and if it resolves No they pay nothing and the 4 USDC is lost. In markets covered by Agara's automatic redemption, Agara adds winnings to your Agara wallet automatically once the market is resolved, with nothing to claim and no gas to pay. Agara's Automatic redemption page explains which markets are covered. Your USDC and your market shares are held in your own Agara wallet on Base, and Agara's Settings page can export the private key of your Privy embedded wallet. Agara markets come in three kinds: - Single questions: one Yes/No market, such as whether a country's GDP growth will reach the government's target. - Multi-outcome events: several Yes/No markets under one question, one per outcome or price level, such as a central bank's rate decision or where a stock index closes on a given day. - Recurring markets: rounds that repeat on a schedule, such as Bitcoin up or down over 15 minutes or a stock up or down each trading day. Each recurring market keeps one permanent page that always shows the current round. A recurring round resolves Up when the asset's price at the end of the round is equal to or higher than its price at the start, and crypto rounds use Pyth prices. Select Sign up or Log in on app.agara.xyz and continue with an email address or an Ethereum-compatible wallet. Privy creates an embedded wallet for every Agara account, and Agara then sets up your Agara wallet on Base automatically, so signing up with email needs no existing crypto wallet. - [How do I deposit on Agara?](https://app.agara.xyz/docs/tokens/collateral.md): Select Deposit in the Agara header or on the Portfolio page; the deposit flow can also convert supported tokens from other networks into USDC on Base. You can also send USDC on the Base network straight to your Agara wallet address, shown as Agara Deposit Wallet in Settings. Sent directly to that address, any other token, or USDC on another network, does not add to your Agara balance and may be unrecoverable. - [How do I withdraw from Agara?](https://app.agara.xyz/docs/on-chain.md): Select Withdraw on the Agara Portfolio page to send USDC to an address on Base, or to receive a supported token on another network after reviewing a quote. - [Can I sell my shares on Agara before the market ends?](https://app.agara.xyz/docs/orders.md): Yes. Shares in an Agara market can be sold at the market price or with a limit order while the market is open for trading, from the market page or the Portfolio page. - [What order types does Agara offer?](https://app.agara.xyz/docs/orders.md): Agara offers limit orders and market orders, and an order's time-in-force decides how it executes: good-til-cancelled (GTC) and good-til-date (GTD) orders rest on the order book until they fill, expire or are cancelled; fill-and-kill (FAK) orders fill whatever is available immediately and cancel the rest; fill-or-kill (FOK) orders fill completely at once or not at all. Agara market orders must be FAK or FOK, while Agara limit orders can use any of the four. The Agara web app sends market orders as FAK and limit orders as GTC, or as GTD when you choose an expiry. Open Agara orders can be cancelled at any time and are cancelled automatically when the market resolves. - [Is there a minimum order size on Agara?](https://app.agara.xyz/docs/orders.md#order-size-limits): Yes. Every Agara order has a minimum and a maximum size, listed under Order size limits in the Orders documentation. - [What happens if my Agara prediction is wrong?](https://app.agara.xyz/docs/automatic-redemption.md): Losing shares on Agara pay nothing when the market resolves, so the amount paid for them is lost unless they were sold earlier. Agara's Terms of Service say a confirmed trade is final and cannot be refunded, and that you can lose the entire amount you commit. - [How are Agara markets resolved, and by whom?](https://agara.xyz/terms): Agara determines each market's outcome by the rules on its market page, using the resolution source those rules name, such as a statistics office, a central bank, a stock exchange or a Pyth price feed. An Agara market page shows each step: outcome proposed, dispute raised if there is one, and market resolved; in markets covered by automatic redemption, winnings are paid once the market is resolved. If a market's resolution source fails, Agara's Terms of Service let Agara suspend or cancel that market or substitute the source. - [Does Agara reward liquidity providers?](https://app.agara.xyz/docs/lp-incentives.md): Yes. Agara's LP Rewards pay a share of daily reward pools to traders who keep qualifying limit orders on incentivized markets. - [Is Agara available in my country?](https://agara.xyz/terms): Agara's Terms of Service set out who can use Agara, and section 4 lists the restricted jurisdictions. ## Trading API - [Overview](https://app.agara.xyz/docs.md): Place orders, read live depth, and monitor fills on Agara markets - [Quickstart](https://app.agara.xyz/docs/quickstart.md): Create an API token, find a market, place an order and confirm the fill in about five minutes - [SDKs](https://app.agara.xyz/docs/sdks.md): Client libraries for TypeScript, Python and Rust - [Authentication](https://app.agara.xyz/docs/authentication.md): Scoped API tokens you can revoke from the web app - [Markets API](https://app.agara.xyz/docs/markets.md): Find events, markets and outcome tokens with the Agara Public API; no authentication required - [Orders](https://app.agara.xyz/docs/orders.md): Place, list, look up and cancel orders - [Market stream](https://app.agara.xyz/docs/streaming.md): Live orderbooks, quotes, trades and market status - [API reference](https://app.agara.xyz/docs/api-reference.md): Every REST endpoint for discovering markets and trading ## OpenAPI specs - [Agara Trading API](https://app.agara.xyz/trade/v1/openapi.json): Place orders, read live depth, and monitor fills - [Agara Public API](https://app.agara.xyz/api/v1/openapi.json): Read-only events, markets, categories and prices; no authentication ## Company - [agara.xyz](https://agara.xyz): Agara's company site - [X: @agaraxyz](https://x.com/agaraxyz): Official X account - [Telegram: Agara Community](https://t.me/agaracommunity): Community group - [Terms of Service](https://agara.xyz/terms): Who can use Agara; section 4 lists the restricted jurisdictions - [Privacy](https://agara.xyz/privacy): Privacy policy ## Optional - [On-chain overview](https://app.agara.xyz/docs/on-chain.md): How orders, balances, deposits and withdrawals map to on-chain state - [Automatic redemption](https://app.agara.xyz/docs/automatic-redemption.md): Which Agara markets pay out automatically, and how winning shares turn into USDC - [LP Rewards](https://app.agara.xyz/docs/lp-incentives.md): Liquidity-provider rewards, a share of daily reward pools for keeping qualifying limit orders on incentivized markets - [Rate limits](https://app.agara.xyz/docs/rate-limits.md): Request limits and how to back off - [Sitemap](https://app.agara.xyz/sitemap.xml): Every public market page
