Agara

FAQ

A prediction market for the things you care about: your election, your stock, this week's headline. You buy Yes or No on a real-world outcome at a live price, and if you're right, each share pays out $1. It runs on-chain and settles in seconds.

A betting site sets the odds and takes the other side of your bet. On Agara you trade with other people at a price the market sets, you can sell your position at any time before the outcome is known, and the price you see is the market's live view of how likely the outcome is.

Agara is built for the rest of the world: the elections, central-bank decisions, and stock indexes that global platforms skip. Trading is fee-free, winnings land in your balance automatically when a market resolves, and the web app and the API trade one shared orderbook.

No. Agara is a marketplace, not a bookmaker. Every share you buy is sold to you by another trader, and every share you sell goes to another trader. Agara has no stake in which outcome wins.

A price is the market's estimate of how likely an outcome is. Yes at 62¢ means traders currently put the odds near 62%. If you buy at 62¢ and the outcome happens, your share pays $1. If it does not, the share is worth nothing. The Yes and No prices of a market always add up to about $1.

Yes. Sell at the current price to exit immediately, or set your own price and wait for a buyer. You lock in a profit or cut a loss the moment your sell fills, without waiting for the outcome.

Each market's rules name the source that decides it and the date it ends. Once the outcome is known, winning shares convert to $1 each and losing shares to $0. The credit is automatic but not instant: it lands in your balance once settlement finishes, and you never need to claim anything.

A proposed outcome shows on the market before it is final, and it can still change while it is under review. If a market cannot be decided, it can settle as a split, and each share pays out its share of $1. Open orders are cancelled when a market resolves.

Agara charges no trading fees. You keep every cent you win. The only costs are the spread between the buy and sell price and the network fee when you move funds on or off the platform.

Your funds sit in your own on-chain account, not in an exchange wallet. Agara never holds your collateral: trades settle through independently audited smart contracts, and you can withdraw to any wallet you control at any time.

You sign in with an email address or a wallet, and you trade with USDC on Base. If you hold USDC on another chain, you can bring it across when you deposit. No other token is needed.

Tap Deposit in the header to open the deposit flow, powered by Privy: send USDC to the address it shows, or bring funds across from another chain. Withdraw from Portfolio to any wallet you control, on Base or across chains. Withdrawals settle in order, and Portfolio shows each one's status until it lands.

Each order can be up to 100,000 USDC, and there is no cap on how many you place. A market only has as much liquidity as traders have put on the book, so a large order can move the price or fill only partly. Check the orderbook before sizing a big trade.

On-chain settlement means every position and payout is verifiable and yours to withdraw without asking anyone. Base keeps that cheap and fast enough that network fees stay negligible and settlements finish in seconds.

Agara is not available in jurisdictions subject to sanctions or where our services are otherwise ineligible. If your location is not supported, the app tells you when you open it.

Yes. Create a personal access token in Settings and follow the Quickstart. The API trades the same orderbook as the web app.
