Rules & Resolution
- This market resolves to "Yes" if the year-on-year change in the headline Residential Property Price Index (RPPI) for July to September 2026 (the third calendar quarter, labelled Q3 2026 by the BSP), as first published by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, is below 0.0%. That means -0.1% or lower at the one-decimal precision the BSP publishes. It resolves to "No" if the published figure is 0.0% or higher. A figure printed as "-0.0%" counts as 0.0%. Quarters are calendar quarters, regardless of any fiscal year.
- Only the headline index for all residential property types nationwide counts. Figures for individual property types (houses, condominiums, townhouses), for regions (Metro Manila or areas outside it), and quarter-on-quarter changes do not count. The older Residential Real Estate Price Index (RREPI), which the RPPI replaced in 2025, does not count.
- The first published July–September 2026 figure is final. Later revisions to it, and any revisions to earlier quarters, are ignored. If the BSP changes the index's method or base year in that release, the headline year-on-year figure as first published still applies. If the BSP publishes only index levels, the change is calculated from the July–September 2026 and July–September 2025 levels in that same report and rounded to one decimal place. If the report and the press release disagree, the figure in the report's data table is used.
- If the BSP has not published a July–September 2026 figure by 1 Jan 2027, this market resolves to "No".
